4000 Viagra Pills have been seized on a train in Salzburg, Austria
20/01/09
A man tried to smuggle a briefcase containing 4000 Viagra pills on a train from Hamburg in Germany to Salzburg in Austria. The pills were discovered by the German police from Rosenheim, Bavaria. The pills apparently have a street value in the region of €80,000 - approximately £65,000 depending upon exchange rates. The German man said that he did not know what the briefcase contained, he was just a transporter.
Apparently, sales of Viagra are the one thing that have increased in these credit crunch times. As we all know, a trip to the cinema or for a nice meal can be expensive, whereas "simpler" pleasures can prove to be much cheaper.
Please note, I have avoided all mention of the German Police Officers giving the man a hard time, or a stiff talking to. This is a sensible news article!
